Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Wygod Family Office (“Wygod Family Office,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you visit our website at wygodco.com (our “Site”) or contact us through it.
Our Site is informational. We do not sell products or services through it, we do not require you to create an account, and we do not require you to provide any information about yourself in order to read it.
01Information We Collect
Information You Provide
You are not required to provide any information to browse our Site. If you choose to contact us through the inquiry form on our Site, that form opens your own email program and sends a message from your email account to us. We will receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include in your message. We do not store inquiry form submissions on our Site.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our Site, our web hosting provider automatically records standard server log information, which may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the pages you view, the time and date of your visit, and the page you visited before ours. This information is generated by the ordinary operation of the internet and is used to keep the Site running securely and reliably.
Our Site uses a small number of cookies that are necessary for it to function, including cookies set by our website software to manage sessions and administrator logins. We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral tracking.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not run analytics or visitor-tracking software on our Site;
- We do not display advertising or permit advertising networks to collect information through our Site;
- We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising;
- We do not collect information about you from data brokers or other third-party sources.
02Third-Party Services
Our Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, a service operated by Google LLC. When your browser requests these typefaces, your IP address is transmitted to Google and is subject to Google’s own privacy practices. We do not control and are not responsible for how Google processes that information.
Our Site is hosted by a third-party web hosting provider that maintains the server logs described above on our behalf.
Our Site contains links to third-party websites, including the website of Forian, Inc. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party website, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them.
03How We Use Information
We use the limited information described above to:
- Operate, maintain, and secure our Site;
- Respond to inquiries and other communications you send us;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents, fraud, and other unlawful activity;
- Diagnose and repair technical problems with our Site; and
- Comply with our legal obligations.
04How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:
- To our web hosting provider and other service providers who need access to it in order to operate our Site on our behalf;
- To our attorneys, accountants, and other professional advisors where necessary to obtain advice or protect our interests;
- Where we believe disclosure is required by applicable law or legal process, including lawful requests by public authorities;
- Where we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Wygod Family Office, our visitors, or others;
- Among Wygod Family Office and our current and future affiliates and entities under common ownership or control; and
- With your consent or at your direction.
05Retention
We retain server log information for the period maintained by our hosting provider in the ordinary course. We retain correspondence you send us for as long as necessary to respond to it and to maintain our business records, and thereafter as required by applicable law.
06Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
07Children
Our Site is not directed to children. Consistent with our Terms of Use, our Site is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority where they reside. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
08Transfer of Information to the United States
Wygod Family Office is located in the United States, and our Site and our service providers operate in the United States. If you access our Site from outside the United States, information about you will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.
09Your Choices
Most web browsers accept cookies by default. You can usually adjust your browser settings to remove or reject cookies. Because the cookies our Site uses are limited to those necessary for the Site to function, rejecting them may affect how the Site displays or behaves.
You may also configure your browser to block requests to third-party domains, which will prevent the Google Fonts request described above. Doing so will cause our Site to display in substitute typefaces.
10Changes to This Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will revise the date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through our Site. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
11Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, or wish to make a request regarding information about you, please contact us through the inquiry form on our Site.
